Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock assessments, ordering supplies, and organizing stockroom efficiently.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately while training staff on proper cash handling procedures.
- Develop training programs for new employees to enhance their skills in store management and customer interaction.
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop sales strategies and promotional activities that drive business growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both employees and customers.
- Utilize strong math skills for financial transactions, inventory counts, and reporting purposes.
- Negotiate with vendors when necessary to ensure the best pricing on inventory purchases.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
