About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Product Development Manager with a Civil or Mechanical Engineering background to drive innovation and manage projects in the Precast Prestressed Concrete Industry or Construction Industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development, project execution, and customer engagement. This role requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with internal teams, and present technical solutions to customers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product development initiatives, working closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to bring new products to the market.
• Oversee multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation in the precast concrete industry.
• Present technical solutions, product benefits, and company capabilities to customers, engineers, and industry professionals.
• Work with internal teams to improve existing products, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to sales teams and customers.
• Manage project documentation, reports, and progress tracking.
• Required to work at the main office, with occasional travel for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in the Precast Prestressed Concrete Industry or Construction Industry preferred.
• Proven experience in product development and project management.
• AutoCAD or 3D modeling proficiency preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills to effectively convey product benefits to customers & engineers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be based at the main office, with flexibility for occasional travel.
