Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are age’s birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.

- Position: Warehouse Specialist
- Location: Shawnee, KS
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Shipment Verification and Preparation:
- Compare shipment information against records (bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.).
- Determine shipment methods based on time constraints and customer needs.
- Pick, pack, and prepare packages for shipping.
- Receiving and Inspection:
- Unpack and inspect incoming shipments for damage and compliance.
- Report damaged items to purchasing.
- Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Maintain warehouse inventory, including materials and supplies.
- Perform equipment cleaning, inventory counts, and basic maintenance.
- Assist clinicians with locating and preparing equipment and supplies.
- Customer and Staff Support:
- Deliver equipment to patients as needed (in certain locations).
- Train staff on warehouse operations as required.
- Interact with customers and clients professionally and effectively.
- General Warehouse Duties:
- Assemble or select appropriate containers for shipments.
- Maintain necessary paperwork and records.
- Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (if assisting with deliveries).
- Basic math and computation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Preferred:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
