New Graduate RN Residency Positions
Position Summary : The RN is responsible for the complete Nursing Process for our patients. The RN performs responsibilities in the areas of clinician, teacher, researcher, and leader. Understands and integrates into the delivery of patient care the needs of the TBI / SCI patient and family in regard to all aspects of their care. Assimilates the contributions of the interdisciplinary team to assure the best possible outcomes are achieved. Maintains professional relationships at all times.
Position Requirements :
- Licensure / Certification / Registrations : Current Colorado RN license and current BLS for the Health Care Provider certification required. ACLS and specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN) are preferred.
- Education : Graduate of a nursing program from an accredited college or university required. A Graduate of a CCNE or NLNAC accredited school of nursing preferred; BSN is required within 18 months of hire.
- Experience : New Graduate RN's no expereince required
- Skills & Abilities : Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures in neuroscience and acute med / surg in the rehabilitation setting is strongly preferred. The ability to assess patient and family needs and coordinate an appropriate nursing plan of care. Knowledge of patient safety principles and infection control in the patient-care environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
