TITLE: Delivery Technician
General: This is an entry level position with room to grow. Opportunity to get acquainted with durable medical equipment. The Delivery Driver will become knowledgeable of all equipment and supplies provided by Home Medical and uphold its standard for excellence. Responsible for delivery of durable medical equipment and consumables. Assist with cleaning and proper storage of all medical equipment.
Assist with maintaining, building, and cleaning equipment. Make sure the store is adequately stocked. Preparing items for next day deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver License
- Excellent work ethic
- Future availability on weekends to assist
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Delivery and set-up medical equipment
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety procedures that apply to delivery of oxygen.
- Assist with cleaning of all equipment.
- Assist with repair of all equipment.
- Prepare orders for next day delivery.
- Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
- May be asked to assist with on-call emergencies
- Physical qualifications:
- Lift/carry up to 65 pounds frequently.
- Ability to drive throughout the eastern shore of Maryland.
- Must be clean & neat in personal appearance.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Have people sensitive characteristics with a desire to help others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
