Job Overview:
Craig Zinn Automotive Group is expanding its Human Resources team. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist that will be responsible for attracting top talent and assist with Human Resources tasks. This role is ideal for a recruiter who has a track record in process optimization, is passionate about talent attraction and retention, and has recruited for various positions in the automotive industry.
Duties:
- Define and refine talent acquisition strategies to ensure they remain impactful and align with the organization’s evolving business needs.
- Source and attract qualified talent by leveraging in-depth knowledge of the most effective channels for driving high-quality. Key channels include Company careers page, Indeed, LinkedIn, Job boards, Social media, Colleges, Networking, Employee referrals, and job fairs.
- Pre-qualify candidates through effective phone screenings and face-to-face interviews to ensure that only the most qualified and committed candidates are referred to hiring
- Utilize tools such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), talent assessment tools, video interview software, and candidate marketing platforms to optimize talent acquisition efforts.
- Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Craft engaging recruiting emails and monitor job posting effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry standards and recruitment practices.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with laws and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our business managers and supervisors in order to ensure that the most qualified candidates are hired to have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. These relationships will be developed to gain a clear understanding of their staffing goals, enabling the implementation of effective hiring strategies for each branch.
- Ensure effective communication with the Hiring Managers for accurate documentation of placements/non-hired candidates, interview scheduling, and feedback.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external hiring agencies and job boards as needed to support hiring efforts.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of direct recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 2 years of experience with ATS.
- Experience with managing and hiring for blue-collar or minimum-wage workforce positions is preferred.
- Experience working in the service industry is preferred.
- Able to travel up to 30%.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Schedule Flexibility. Although our standard office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., there may be a need to cover different hours as required.
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License.
- Must pass a pre-employment screening including Background Check and Drug Test.
