Job Description:
The Vehicle Readiness Manager is responsible for overseeing the detailing and photo departments across multiple dealership locations in Northwest Arkansas and Fort Smith. This role ensures that all vehicle inventory is prepared, cleaned, and marketed online in a timely manner to meet dealership standards. The manager will lead a team responsible for vehicle detailing, photography, and merchandising, ensuring high-quality presentation and efficiency across all stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee vehicle detailing and photography operations across multiple locations, ensuring all vehicles are retail-ready in a timely manner.
- Hire, train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate employees within the detailing and photo departments.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards for vehicle cleanliness, presentation, and online merchandising.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to streamline vehicle preparation and reduce turnaround time.
- Monitor and maintain inventory tracking to ensure vehicles are properly staged, photographed, and listed online.
- Collaborate with dealership leadership and sales teams to align vehicle readiness with sales and marketing goals.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to optimize coverage while maintaining productivity and cost efficiency.
- Address and resolve operational challenges, ensuring a seamless process for vehicle preparation.
- Provide hands-on support and leadership to ensure employees meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive detailing, photography, or dealership operations management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to multitask and manage operations across multiple locations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with dealership leadership.
- Familiarity with dealership software and inventory management systems.
- Understanding of online vehicle presentation and digital marketing best practices.
