What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Process Specialist position at CRAM-A-LOT INC?
The Business Process Specialist reports to the Co-President / CEO and is responsible for the documentation and design business processes. The Business Process Specialist is a resource and champion for business process improvement.
- Essential Functions:
-Works with department managers and other personnel to map and define key business processes.
- Create written documents such as policies, work instructions, flow charts, and forms.
- Proposes action plans for process improvements to senior management as requested.
- Ensures employees working in the value stream have necessary customer requirements to perform their work.
- Creates and maintains the company's global document system.
- Manages document requests, document review and revision requests.
-Creats and maintains a safe working enviroment
Requirements:
- High school degree & minimum 2 years related experience.
- Proficient with Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, MRP / ERP information systems
- A candidate with ASQ Certificatons, Six Sigma Green Belt, Toyota Production System or experience with other continuous improvement methodology is perferred.
- Outstanding writing skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
