Dental Front Office Coordinator
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM

As the first point of contact for our patients, you play a key role in ensuring a welcoming experience, managing scheduling, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our dental office.

Required:
- One or more years of experience in a dental office (front desk, scheduling, or insurance verification)
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management software
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance processing
- Experience handling patient financial arrangements
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer and route calls professionally, scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Schedule and confirm appointments based on patient preferences and office protocols.
- Monitor and manage patient recall and inactive patient lists.
- Optimize the schedule to maximize doctor and staff productivity.
- Handle cancellations and no-shows efficiently to keep the schedule full.
- Verify and update insurance benefits prior to appointments.
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients.
- Ensure patients are charged at the time of service and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist patients in understanding office policies and procedures.
- Support the dental team with administrative needs as required.
- Address and resolve patient concerns in a professional manner.
