Does the thought of being on the leading edge of the media industry excite you? We are looking for a Programmatic Trader that is a recent graduate or has 1-2 years of experience to join our C-K Chicago team. The Programmatic Trader buys digital media on software platforms and then monitors and optimizes these campaigns to deliver marketing insights for a broad array of clients.
About the Role
- Manage digital advertising campaigns across multiple clients on the C-K programmatic team.
- Learn how to translate media objectives and strategies into programmatic campaign recommendations across ad formats such as video, audio, display, native, connected TV, etc.
- Responsible for all aspects of the campaign from initial set-up to mid-campaign optimizations through reporting and billing.
- Understand how to use data and insights to improve campaign performance.
- Campaign goals include, but are not limited to driving online purchases, increasing brand consideration, and providing overall awareness for each assigned brand.
- Serve as a member of C-K’s programmatic center of excellence and maintain/build upon a growing depth of knowledge in the programmatic landscape.
- Our current programmatic team holds a diverse mix of experience and provides a collaborative environment to help you become an expert in programmatic advertising.
About You
- Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree within a quantitative field like Business, Marketing/Advertising, Communications etc.
- Highly interested in the technical side of digital advertising.
- You're an analytical thinker that loves using data to inform decisions.
- You like doing market research to better understand the target audience.
- Any experience managing programmatic or paid social/search campaigns is a plus (internship experience qualifies).

Additional Information
- We currently work in the office three days a week to facilitate in-person collaboration and the value these relationships bring to managing, mentoring, teamwork and culture. We are also committed to providing an environment that allows for work/life balance, so C-Kers work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Compensation range at the time of posting: $50,000 to $57,000 annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant, and C-K reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time based on requirements of the position and level of responsibility.
