Key Holder/Assistant Manager

Job Overview

This position is for our Bandon Location. Training will be in Coos Bay OR.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized retail environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for retail.

Duties

• Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, organizing stock, and conducting regular inventory checks in a timely manor.
• Train and orient new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to address inquiries or concerns.
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when interacting with customers or vendors over the phone.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate financial transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels effectively.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
