Counselor – Summer Art Studio

Duties: Interact with families and campers (boys and girls, grades 2-10) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Supervise and be accountable for campers during the camp day including pick-up/drop-off, classroom and outdoor activities, lunchtime, transitions, and downtime. Lead enriching and creative experiences when assigned. Manage campers in all activities and while moving about campus to ensure consistent engagement and safety for each camper. Provide enriching and creative growth experiences within the camp activities.
Qualifications: High school diploma; childcare experience; superior problem-solving skills and ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents.
Preferred: 18 years of age; currently attending or graduated from college; camp employment experience.
Timeframe: June 9 to August 10; Weekdays only except first and last. Must be able to work the entire length of camp.
Wage: $16.50 per hour.
