Job Description
We are seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
About the Role
This onsite position offers a competitive pay ranging from $17.14 to $21.71 per hour, reflecting your experience and skills in the field.
We offer full-time hiring bonus of $2,000 and part-time hiring bonus of $1,000.
Our STNAs provide high-quality care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and reporting any changes in health status to the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care such as bed baths, shower/tub baths, shampoo, oral hygiene, combing hair, back care, dressing/undressing resident, changing bed linen, shaving resident, grooming nails, checking and changing briefs and/or Chux, provide peri care, AM and HS care and other general care as needed.
- Assist residents with positioning, lifting and turning utilizing special equipment such as mechanical lift.
- Ambulate residents and apply special equipment such as braces, slings, ted hose, etc.
Requirements
- Valid STNA certification from the State of Ohio.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Empathy and compassion for providing person-centered care.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges promptly.
