We are seeking an experienced Quality professional to lead our effort to ensure the consistency, quality and compliance of our products. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining production quality and compliance with industry and customer standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversees the quality control processes throughout the production process. Ensure products meet specifications, standards, and customer requirements. Perform regular inspections and monitor process consistency.
- Conducts physical, visual, and functional tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Records results, identify any non-conformities, and provides recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborates with production teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure consistent product quality. Recommends and implement process adjustments to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Prepares and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and overall performance.
- Ensures product complies with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Stays updated on changes in industry standards and best practices related to paper converting.
- Provides training to production teams on quality standards, proper handling of materials, and effective inspection techniques. Offers ongoing support to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Assists in managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring that raw materials meet quality specifications before production. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, Operations, or equivalent business/work experience.
- 2-4 years experience working in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the paper converting industry.
- Certifications in Quality Control, Six Sigma or other relevant coursework preferred.
- Demonstrative attention to detail
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Quality standards and systems.
