What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Crane Credit Union?
Role:
To direct the operations of a Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Has assigned lending authority.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Interviews loan applicants. Underwrites consumer loans up to the amount assigned per credit union policy; reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel. Handles loan closings, including mortgage closings.
Directs, develops, motivates, and hires branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.
Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members and SEGs, and in its external community relationships, also suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.
Resolves member's problems. Assists other employees with problems and questions relating to complicated products and regulations.
Serves as backup to Member Service Representative when needed.
Has a general working knowledge and annual training of BSA/AML.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,390.00 - $105,584.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Banking: 3 years (Preferred)
- Lending: 1 year (Preferred)
- Management: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- NMLS (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Plainfield, IN 46168: Relocate before starting work (Required)
