This is a third shift position but will assist on other shifts as needed. The Quality Assurance Technician performs inspection auditing and testing of manufacturing processes and products to assure and document consistent product quality. It is critical that numerous properties of stock, paper, and other manufacturing materials conform to required specifications and that quality or compliance concerns are communicated with urgency.

It is critical that numerous properties of stock, paper, and other manufacturing materials conform to required specifications and that quality or compliance concerns are communicated with urgency.
- Complete physical testing on material comparing Company and customer specifications
- Mix colors accurately following predetermined formulas
- Complete series of color control testing, advising Beater Engineer of color changes needed
- Perform shipment sample tests, advising the Finishing Department of any skids which are out of specification
- Audit the product throughout the manufacturing process
- Perform Equipment Verification Testing
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; BS/BA degree, preferred
- Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to receive, analyze, interpret and report out information accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team
- Capability to understand and follow operating/job procedures and work in a safe manner
- Pass pre-qualifying tests in data entry and math
