Internship - Strategy Associate (Stoc)

Stoc is part of Crane NXT, a premier technology company focused on securing, detecting and authenticating what matters most to our customers. Our team is focused on disrupting current inventory visibility solutions with A.I. powered technology. We specialize in delivering actionable insights to our customers through comprehensive data collection and deeply understanding their business.

What You'll Be Doing

The Strategy Associate will spearhead a customer landscape project focused on assessing strategic fit of different market segments with Stoc. Project outcomes will be used to plan and launch 2025 business development initiatives. Key aspects of project work include:

• Develop a strong understanding of Stoc’s value proposition to different market segments
• Conduct primary research, including but not limited to desk research, coordinating and leading stakeholder interviews, and sourcing customer feedback
• Utilize best-practice methodologies and frameworks to map customer segments and assess fit with Stoc’s strategic imperatives
• Apply qualitative and quantitative learnings to recommend a target market for Stoc to pursue as its primary customer base for the next 12-months
• Author deliverables detailing Stoc’s ideal customer profile, relevant stakeholder personas, and specific contacts for outreach
• Assessment of Stoc’s key competitors, with proposals for positioning of Stoc’s offering against competitive solutions.
• Deliver end of semester presentation to Stoc’s leadership team
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Currently working towards a degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Business Innovation or a similar program
• Ability to commit to a full-time, remote position for the Summer Internship Period of 6/2/2025-8/15/2025
• Analytical with proven ability to conduct primary research, generate insights, and formulate and communicate recommendations to an executive audience
• Startup experience highly preferred, but not required
• Experience in strategy, consulting, market research, retail/DSD operations, or beverage industry preferred
