General Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for the development, implementation and administration of organization-wide systems for the prevention and control of infections as well as maintaining compliance with accrediting, licensing, and governing agency expectations related to infection prevention and control program. She / he assesses the educational needs of the staff and develops and implements training programs to meet those needs.
Basic Qualifications
Education / Training / Certifications :
Skill(s) :
Effective communication skills, basic computer skills.
Experience :
Minimum of five years clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting or disease surveillance experience in a public health setting.
