General Purpose
The Warehouse Manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of equipment and goods. This role ensures workplace health and safety standards are met and is responsible for the security of the facility and its inventory.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by implementing and enforcing operational and personnel policies.
- Coordinate deliveries with the Director of Warehousing, VP of Rigging Division, Project Managers, and Account Managers.
- Work with the Director of Warehousing to secure overweight and oversized load permits.
- Communicate with internal and external customers daily.
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to maintain safe work practices.
- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure accurate data entry for accounting purposes, including weight, square footage, and shipping details.
- Manage heating, cooling, material handling, access, and security systems.
- Ensure proper check-in, identification, and tagging of all materials with job and customer names.
- Notify customers of damaged materials or delivery shortages.
- Document equipment as needed using digital photography per customer requests.
- Escort visiting customers to their stored materials.
- Coordinate with the Yard Manager to ensure safe offloading and storage of equipment.
- Identify and meet customer storage and delivery needs.
- Plan and sequence equipment deliveries to ensure on-time arrival in the correct order.
- Measure equipment for compliance with local traffic regulations.
- Protect equipment from environmental damage during transport.
- Manage inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely updates.
- Attend staff, planning, and operations meetings.
- Assist the Sales Team in developing storage and delivery quotes.
- Provide quotes to customers regarding storage and delivery fees.
- Work with the Accounting Team to ensure correct and timely customer billing.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to maximize truck utilization.
- Ensure all employee training and certifications are current in coordination with the Safety Director.
- Work with the Shop Foreman to maintain, repair, and ensure the availability of vehicles.
- Coordinate manpower needs with other divisions.
- Work with customers' drivers to facilitate efficient pickups and deliveries.
- Conduct research to support problem-solving and decision-making efforts.

- This salaried position requires an average of 50 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Planning & Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse management.
Minimum of two years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction processes

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
