Customs Business Application Specialist

Essential Job Functions

• Manage and maintain business applications, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
• Work closely with customs and logistics teams to understand their application requirements.
• Optimize application configurations for customs brokerage and freight forwarding operations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and application performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for application processes and procedures.
• Train end-users on application functionalities, focusing on customs and logistics modules.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement new application features.
• Analyze application data to provide insights for business decisions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, liaising with vendors for support when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry and company standards in application usage.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of experience with customs brokerage software applications, including their maintenance and development.
• Experience using customs applications operationally and in support roles is highly valued.

Certification & Licenses

• Preferred but Not Required: Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Certification or U.S. Customs Broker License
