ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
As the Operations Manager for BagCaddie.com, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational activities, including logistics, inventory management, order fulfillment, customer service, and performance analysis. Your goal will be to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that our customers receive the
highest level of service. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce, logistics, or a related field, with a strong focus on operations management in a fast-
paced, customer-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of BagCaddie.com, ensuring that all systems, processes, and teams are aligned and running efficiently.
- Manage the logistics of door-to-door golf equipment shipping, coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and third-party service providers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that all products are in stock and ready for fulfillment.
- Ensure the smooth execution of the order fulfillment process, including tracking orders from initiation to delivery.
- Lead customer service efforts to provide prompt and efficient resolution to customer inquiries, issues, and complaints.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflows and improve service delivery.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency, order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and delivery timelines. Use data to make actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align operational goals with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Manage the hiring, training, and development of the operations team to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, including delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and other logistical issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances.

EDUCATION AND DIRECT WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, logistics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within e-commerce, logistics, or a service-based industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, fulfillment software, and customer service tools.
- Experience working in or with businesses that offer door-to-door or direct-to-consumer shipping services (ideal).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize operations.
- Exceptional communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
