Requirements for Activities Director:
- Activities Director Certification (ADC)
- Nursing home experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties for Activities Director:
- Supervise, schedule and evaluate all staff and volunteers involved in activities program
- Carry out scheduled programs when necessary
- Develop, execute and evaluate programs that reflect the need and interests of the residents
- Coordinate all entertainment for all the residents
- Supervise and maintain activities department staff
- Maintain documentation and comply with all state and federal policies and procedures
