Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the aftermarket sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide training and support to sales teams to improve their understanding of
- aftermarket offerings.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue from aftermarket sales
- (parts, services, etc.).
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in existing markets and potential new
- customer segments.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track sales performance.
- Manage relationships with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term
- partnerships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding aftermarket products
- and services.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements with existing clients for spare parts,
- maintenance services, and system upgrades.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends related
- to aftermarket services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand aftermarket services
- and parts sales.
- Coordinate with product support teams to develop relevant aftermarket solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of aftermarket
- products and services.
- Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of aftermarket products and
- services.
- Collaborate with the product support to update and improve the aftermarket
- product portfolio based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and
- campaigns for aftermarket sales.
- Analyze sales data to monitor performance, customer behavior, and identify areas
- for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on aftermarket sales performance, market trends, and
- customer feedback for senior management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field and/or 3 years of relevant experience. Heavy equipment and/or lifting equipment industry strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the inside and outside the organization.
- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong product knowledge (sales and technical) of assigned product type and industry.
