We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to join our team at our office & warehouse in Hastings, MN. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Essential Functions:
- Check schedule daily to stay up to date on recoveries
- Recover scheduled pickups in a timely manner
- Updates notes with appropriate information (leaving warehouse, picked up unit, dropped off at warehouse)
- Fill out vehicle condition pre check forms daily before starting a trip - if anything found broken / wrong report it to direct supervisor
- Performing necessary minor repairs to recover an assignment
- Stay consistent with regular vehicle maintenance (oil changes, wash exterior / clean interior)
- Occasional Saturdays and Over Time when needed.
- Assist customers with pick-up and transport as necessary. Respond to customer inquiries as necessary. (Mainly on Saturday shifts)
- Participates in training as directed by direct supervisor
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
- Commercial driver’s license (class A). Experience driving 1-ton trucks with trailers required.
- Current Federal Medical Certification card
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Experience in a warehouse or garage environment required.
- Knowledge of recreational equipment and mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively via oral or written means required.
- Effective time management skills required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience complying with DOT regulations preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Education in engine repair preferred.
- Previous experience using a forklift preferred.
- Previous experience using electronic logbooks.
