Plumbing Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working alongside skilled professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of plumbing projects.

Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Participate in pipe threading and assembly processes under supervision.
• Support field service operations by assisting with troubleshooting and repairs on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating materials.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of construction plumbing concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical plans is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge in HVAC systems is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with plumbing work, including lifting heavy materials.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
