Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with the ability to perform high-quality work on various vehicle makes and models. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs.
• Perform body repairs including sheet metal work, welding, and auto glass replacement.
• Execute airless paint spraying techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive repair technologies and techniques.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair or restoration.
• Proficiency in auto estimating, welding, sheet metal work, and mechanic skills.
• Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
