Your Responsibilities
- Assess and examine damaged vehicles to efficiently determine the repair process.
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
- Ensure quality repairs while adhering to project timelines.
- Make informed decisions on whether to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost-efficiency, and repair time.
- Disassemble vehicle components including upholstery, accessories, and windows to access damaged areas.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
- Mentor and guide apprentices during complex tasks, providing support and instruction.
- Preferred certification in body repair.
- Knowledge of the vehicle repair processes specific to various manufacturers.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data effectively.
- Proven capacity to supervise and guide repair personnel.
- Must successfully pass a thorough background check.
