What You Will Be Doing :
We are recruiting for a Director, Software Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will lead a highly technical and tenured team through the key components of the software development life cycle. With extensive leadership and team-building skills, you will develop and execute strategic corporate objectives across a broad organization. Using your software building skills and solid technical background, you will lead the team to improve products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing strategic mid-term planning within corporate initiatives
- Participating in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
- Effectively coaching and mentoring others on their path of personal and professional growth
- Communicating effectively and friction-free to the organization, to peers, and across the company
- Delegating work effectively
- Contributing to and managing organizational elements within the department budget
- Closely working with product management to ensure priorities and objectives are aligned with business needs
- Guiding work direction for individuals and multiple teams, reporting on progress, and making wise decisions to adapt plans as things change
- Leading the organization toward building elegant solutions for complex technical problems
- Evaluating and assessing technologies and tools to support the engineering effort across multiple teams or areas; respectfully challenging ideas, decisions, and the status quo
- Working with test, QA, Information Experience, and support as part of the full product lifecycle
- Facilitating and driving solutions on technical issues where engineers or teams may not have expertise to resolve them
- Driving organizational changes, initiatives, and best practices within engineering as well as company wide

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. This position is eligible for a variable bonus plan based on assigned targets, in addition to a full range of benefits. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and the candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
