The Distribution Center Office Associate is responsible for performing general clerking duties such as data entry and paperwork filing in Distribution/Cross dock centers or float between centers.
What you’ll do:
- Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, record keeping, and copying
- Input data via a computer
- Maintain and replenishes office supplies
- Conduct information retrieval and data entry via the computer
- Compile, organize, and maintain records of business transactions
- Maintain moderately complex indexes and files
- Answer phones and take messages
- Gather information from accounts, applications, or spreadsheets and transfers into a standard format or database
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling, sorting, and verifying information.
- Perform other related clerical duties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a clerical position and/or Administrative Support preferred
- High School Diploma, GED, equivalent vocational training, or associate's degree
- Proficient at typing and basic computer operation
- Intermediate English Language proficiency
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Clerical, word processing, and office skills
- High attention to detail
- Maintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals
