Job Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough inspections of inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee accuracy and consistency in our products. This involves auditing vendor shipments, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with Merchandising to determine acceptable quality levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify potential quality issues and communicate with Merchandising for resolution
- Collaborate with Furniture Shop, Distribution Center, and cross-dock associates to resolve furniture determinations
- Process returns to vendors to recoup lost dollars
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive working environment
Requirements:
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assistance
- Proven proficiency in English language skills
- Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge required
- Must work effectively as a team member
- Basic math required
