District EC Program Specialist Job Description
This position provides collaboration and support to Exceptional Children Teachers. The specialist assists in scheduling EC students, coordinates with regular education schedules, and mentors EC teachers for assigned schools.

Education and Experience:
This position provides collaboration and support to Exceptional Children Teachers. The specialist assists in scheduling EC students, coordinates with regular education schedules, and mentors EC teachers for assigned schools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted compliance intervention as requested by the EC Director.
- Coordinate with Transportation and therapists regarding addition/removal of EC students on EC buses.
- Monitor compliance for transportation as a related service in CECAS/ECATS.
Responsibilities of all EC Cabinet Members:
- Participate in EC Cabinet meetings.
- Collaborate with others to develop processes, facilitate, and monitor.
Education and Experience:
- Teaching certification in Special Education.
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- 7-10 years teaching experience.
- Extensive knowledge of IDEA and working with students with disabilities.
