Job Description

Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN)

Job Specialty : Clinic / Outpatient

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Varied 8- or 10-hour shifts, 8 AM to 5 PM, 7 AM to 6 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Required to submit

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have :

  • Clinic experience preferred

Job Description :

  • Assist in a primary care clinic serving patients from newborns to geriatrics
  • Perform duties such as skin biopsy, circumcision, wart removal, occasional stitches, and splinting
  • Utilize computer systems for patient data management, including AEHR and Meditech
  • Room patients, administer vaccines, and assist with minor procedures
  • Clean patient rooms after each use and ensure proper room stocking
  • Handle patient phone calls and collaborate closely with healthcare providers
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), with training provided for all staff
  • Work alongside Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs)
  • Report to an RN Lead who manages the shift
  • Adapt to floating requirements within primary care departments such as Pediatrics, Family, OB, Walk-in, and Internal Medicine
  • Participate in one week of department-specific orientation
  • Comply with the dress code of black scrub pants and light blue top
  • Demonstrate attributes such as teamwork, time management, ambition, being self-motivated, and possessing problem-solving skills

    • Please note : Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and should not have been employed full-time, part-time, or as needed with associated facilities within the past year.
