Position Details
POSITION : Mathematics Teacher with hiring bonus.
DESCRIPTION : Full-time teaching position at Grayling High School with a passion for teaching and expertise in the content area. $8,000 bonus to the selected candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS : Applicant must possess a valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate to teach high school Mathematics. Applicant must be able to apply current educational research to design and implement an effective curriculum, use technology and engaging teaching strategies to develop activities, assessments and investigations that promote students to think and act like mathematicians. The desired candidate should be familiar with the SAT and PSAT. GHS teachers regularly participate in trainings, develop and / or revise assessments, and create pacing guides aligned with course requirements. The preferred applicant must also have the desire to be involved in co-curricular activities such as class advising / coaching, committee work, and school improvement initiatives.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job responsibility.
SALARY : According to the terms of the Master Agreement.
