Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities but not limited to :
Conducts regular rounds on the unit and notifies appropriate personnel of findings
Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care
Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary
Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately
Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care and life-saving measures in the absence of a physician
Participate in facility education and in-service programs
Provide supervision to Nursing Assistant providing direct resident care. Provide resident care as necessary
Perform comprehensive assessment of residents as assigned
Promptly report changes in resident conditions to RN Supervisor, Physician, Director of Nursing and responsible party. Take follow-up action as necessary
Qualifications :
All candidates must pass pre-employment screening and PA Criminal Background in accordance with the PA Older Adult Protection Act.
