What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Coordinator position at Crawford & Company?
Performs the necessary duties related to the credentialing process within the Membership Services department. Acts as the final review of contractor application information.
- Conducts a thorough review of new and updated contractor applications to determine pre-qualification status.
- Reviews contractor financial statements and credit reports.
- Reviews contractor site visit results.
- Updates systems to reflect contractor status information.
- Communicates with contractors, both verbal and written, regarding network status.
- Central point of contact for any internal and external inquiries regarding contractor financial and/or credit status.
- Advises client and/or field personnel of any potential issues or concerns via e-mail, listing all findings.
- Responsible for the Credit Alert Process.
- Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.
- Upholds and projects the public image of the Company.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education
- a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Highly proficient and advanced computer skills.
