We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects, contributing to tasks that require both physical labor and technical skills. This role is essential for supporting our construction crew in delivering high-quality work across multiple projects, including residential and commercial builds.
Responsibilities
- Assist in frame carpentry tasks, ensuring accurate measurements and cuts for structural integrity.
- Participate in flooring installation projects, working with various materials such as tile, wood, and laminate.
- Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure project timelines are met.
- Engage in remodeling tasks, assisting in the transformation of spaces according to client specifications.
- Perform caulking duties to seal joints and gaps for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes.
- Build and fabricate components as directed by lead workers or supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or familiarity with all phases of carpentry installation is good
- Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople.
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a positive attitude towards tasks assigned.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in construction is advantageous.
