We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating patient care, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate client scheduling with clerical staff.
- Greet and check in clients upon arrival, recording health information such as medical history, current medications, and other relevant details.
- Take and record patient vitals in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
- Prepare and maintain medical rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness before and after patient visits.
- Monitor and track inventory of medical supplies, ensuring timely reordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with inpatient facilities and other healthcare providers to ensure the proper release of medical information.
- Assist with lab preparation and administer Urine Drug Screen (UDS) tests as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Our agency operates Monday through Friday with hours from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Friday). Both day and evening shifts are required.
Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances required.
