Journey Center Clubhouse is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Clubhouse Generalist. This role involves working directly with individuals with mental illness to support their personal and professional goals in a non-clinical, recovery-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental illness.
· Assist members in setting and achieving personal, career, and wellness goals.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Carelon Behavioral Health and DPW/OHMSAS standards.
· Facilitate group and individual participation in work-ordered day activities, such as computer work, gardening, food preparation, and vocational support.
· Identify and utilize community, healthcare, and social service resources to enhance member well-being and independence.
· Promote self-advocacy among members and encourage them to take on leadership roles.
· Support members with employment goals through job development and community-based assistance.
· Assist with the orientation and integration of new members into the Clubhouse community.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a minimum of two years’ experience in the human services field.
· Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Capable of maintaining focus in a vibrant environment with frequent interruptions.
· Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries with both members and staff while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
· Understanding and belief in recovery as a holistic, lifelong process for individuals with mental illness.
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and organizational abilities.
· Openness to receiving and incorporating feedback to refine your approach and enhance member support.
· Proficiency in preparing and submitting paperwork, including service plans and progress notes.
· Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and social media.
· Multimedia skills (e.g., video production, website management) are helpful but not required.
