CHAPS is seeking recovery-oriented workers for our Home & Community Supports program that serves adults who have an intellectual disability. Full time and part time positions are available for caring, dependable workers to provide support to individuals in each program. The position is typically Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, with some additional opportunities for evening and weekend hours. Previous experience in human services preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills and belief that recovery is possible for all. Candidates must possess valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Health benefits available to full time employees.
Duties to include:
- Connecting participants to community resources, including both physical and mental health professionals
- Assisting participants with independent living and social skills i.e. grocery shopping, laundry, maintaining household, etc.
- Other activities which positively impact progress made toward goals as outlined in participants’ goal plans
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
