What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Mental Health Assistant position at Crawford County Mental Health Center?
Crawford County Mental Health Center is taking applications for a full time Crisis Mental Health Assistant. This position will access or create community resources for individuals in psychiatric crisis, regardless of the hour. It is meant to help community members find and utilize caregivers, natural resources, created resources, caregiving facilities, etc. to improve their quality of life and, especially, to help guide them towards the least restrictive psychiatric placement.
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the various behavioral health fields such as clinical psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, rehabilitation or a closely related degree is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to move freely around the community. Must be able to meet productivity standards and documentation requirements.
Position open until filled.
Compensation and benefits package starting at $11 an hour, based on experience and differential rate. Benefits package includes participation in KPERS Retirement System, health, dental, and life insurance.
