What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Assistant position at Crawford County Mental Health Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Facilitate psycho-social activities with other team leaders.
- Staff /child ratio is 1 to 4.
- Focus of psycho-social activities and goals to be addressed:
1) Increasing daily problem solving skill
2) Learning and improving social skills
3) Training in leisure time skills
4) Promotion of health
5) Enhancing personal relationship skills
QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES:
- Must be 18 years old
- No Experience Required
- Mature, reliable, and dependable
- Desire to work with challenging children
SCHOOL YEAR HOURS:
Monday - Thursday 2:30 to 5:30 (Follows School District Calendar: mid-August to mid-May)
LOCATION:
Program is based in school buildings in Crawford County
WAGES:
Start at $14.00 per hour
