What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Counselor (ACT Team) position at Crawford County Mental Health Center?
Crawford County Mental Health Center is now accepting applications for a part-time SUD Counselor for their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The position will be responsible for the assessment of behavioral health disorders, development of treatment plans and interventions, delivery of counseling and psychotherapy opportunities to consumers and consultation with other community agencies. The applicant must be a Licensed Mental Professional or a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Kansas. Preferred licensure LMSW/LSCSW, LPC/LCPC, LMFT/LCMFT, or LMLP/LCP. Additional accepted licensure LAC, LMAC, or LCAC.
This position will provide substance use counseling to mental health clients with dual diagnoses, in the community. This position will start on a part-time basis but has potential growth to a full-time position. Daily staff meetings are required. The ACT team will be assigned up to 10 clients per member of the team. On call rotation is required and shared among the team. Fidelity for this position and team is a must. Prior mental health training and/or SUD training or licensing is preferred, but not mandatory.
Compensation starts at $27.40 an hour, based on experience and licensure.
