CMT is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and support our mission of shaping infrastructure solutions. This role involves working collaboratively with marketing, communications, and technical staff across all levels and locations to create compelling visual assets for business development and internal and external communications. This position will play a key role in visually communicating our brand and messaging across various platforms and increasing CMT's visibility in both new and existing markets.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Acquire basic industry knowledge and skills while working under CMT's Marketing Manager for support, coaching, and direction to develop :
Branded Marketing CollateralAdvertisementsProposal Layout & Data VisualizationMaps & Graphical ExhibitsWebsite & Social Media ContentReports & Client DeliverablesInternal & External Presentations and ResourcesLearning & Development MaterialsVideo Production & Motion Graphics
Utilize design software and / or marketing software to develop content and follow processesBuild and maintain cooperative and trusting relationships with Marketing teammates and technical staffSubmit quality work for review and approval in a timely mannerUphold marketing standards and brand usage guidelinesParticipate in efforts towards continuous improvement and innovationAlign with and embrace CMT's mission and core valuesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Basic knowledge of marketing and / or communications techniques, tools, and principlesNovice or basic understanding of A / E / C industry terminology and proceduresProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro)Demonstrated experience in designing materials for print and digital publishingStrong understanding of design principles and layoutPassion for thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics, and layoutsProven experience serving clients or other non-marketing professionalsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and active listening skillsStrong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasksStrong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and multiple concurrent tasksBasic copywriting, proofreading, and editing skillsBasic problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutionsAbility to demonstrate responsiveness, professionalism, and teamworkAbility to provide a design portfolio and / or recent work samplesEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field1-5 years of experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldPhysical Requirements
