We’re looking for a talented Project Manager to join our Aviation civil engineering team in Milwaukee, WI to grow our Aviation presence in Wisconsin. The selected candidate will have demonstrated leadership qualities, the ability to work as a team member or independently, the capacity to learn new skills and areas of expertise, and the desire to assist in establishing and growing our aviation business within a new market. Duties & Responsibilities :
- Planning, design, and construction of civil & transportation projects focused on Aviation development
- Perform and lead design tasks or projects including supervising junior staff
- Typical projects require the preparation of bidding documents (plans & specifications) including horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, marking, signage, erosion control, coordination with other disciplines, water & sanitary utilities, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction scheduling
- Support the client manager in providing service to and developing relationships with existing aviation clients
- Perform project management and coordination of multi-disciplined tasks necessary to implement projects for clients in our aviation group
- Perform, assist, or oversee construction-related tasks including on-site construction observation and project engineering
- Assist in business development activities including prospective client outreach, submittal preparation, and community engagement
