Salary Range : $85,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) , named “Zweig Group’s “Best Firms to Work For”, is seeking an experienced Site / Civil Engineer to join our growing Water Resources team in Springfield, IL. This role involves providing civil engineering design services to a diverse range of clients throughout central Illinois. Projects will vary but will focus on civil-related work, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, sanitary & combined sewer collection systems, and stormwater management.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Working closely with other engineers, architects, and project managers in planning, design, construction, coordination, and execution of complex projects while maintaining conformance with engineering standards, established practices, and applicable codes.
- Master planning, terrain modeling and earthwork analysis, site utility conveyance and permitting, pavement design, hydrologic & hydraulic analysis and design, stormwater detention and water quality design, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and buried piping design.
- Complete preparation of construction drawings and technical specifications for Water Resources projects.
- The ability to directly interface with clients and project stakeholders in a manner that is both professional and that furthers business development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills related to design, report writing, field investigations, cost estimating, construction observation, and attendance at client meetings.
