Job Summary
Are client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Area Sales Route Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy traveling, sales, and providing excellent customer service. As the face of our company, you will operate a mobile uniform store, traveling to nursing homes and hospitals across the assigned sales territory.
Job Responsibilities: Travel within the designated sales area (Minneapolis, MN) to conduct on-site sales from a mobile uniform store. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting and purchasing uniforms. Stock, clean, and maintain a professional and organized mobile store. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to achieve sales goals. Plan and optimize driving routes for efficient sales visits. Conduct 8-10 sales visits per week, typically two sales per day (Monday – Friday). Stay in company-paid hotels while traveling for up to five days at a time.
Qualifications: Operate a 38-foot gooseneck trailer (pulled by a company-provided 1-ton dually truck). Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in compliance with DOT regulations. Follow all FMCSA regulations and maintain a current DOT medical certificate. Schedule and maintain regular truck and trailer maintenance. Qualifications: Proven sales experience, preferably in a regional or territory management role. CDL Class A license required for at least one team member (training provided for the right candidate). Clean driving record and ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Basic technical skills (computer, internet, email). Strong sense of direction and ability to follow designated sales routes. Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs as needed. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
