Position Overview
As an Automotive Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing vehicle issues, providing accurate repair recommendations, and completing high-quality repairs.
Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine maintenance and repair needs. Troubleshoot, inspect, and road test vehicles to identify problems. Use tools like motor analyzers, handheld computers, and chassis charts to diagnose malfunctions. Adjust, repair, or replace components of light to medium-duty vehicles. Test and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications. Provide accurate estimates for parts and labor. Perform scheduled maintenance services. Advise customers on performed work and future repair requirements. Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications Required: Ford and/or GM dealership experience. Preferred: ACE certification, diesel, and transmission repair experience. Completion of post-secondary programs or related training. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Team player with a professional demeanor and strong work ethic. High physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
