About The Role
As a Bilingual Auto Body Shop Manager , youll lead the estimating and repair operations of our shop. Your role involves managing workflows, supervising teams, and ensuring high-quality repairs that result in customer satisfaction. Youll oversee daily operations, establish efficient processes, and maintain standards of excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership : Supervise and schedule work for staff, coach service advisors, and lead daily production meetings. Operations Management : Manage the shops inventory, operating budget, and expenses. Oversee parts procurement, sublet work, and production scheduling. Customer Focus : Ensure exceptional customer service and collaborate with insurance representatives, fleet companies, and retail customers. Quality Control : Monitor performance metrics, including repair cycle time and estimate revenue, ensuring alignment with insurance guidelines. Efficiency Improvements : Implement systems to maximize productivity and predictable results. Qualifications Education : High school diploma required; an automotive repair certificate is preferred. Experience : Proven leadership in body shop management with a strong grasp of repair operations and insurance procedures. Technical Skills : Proficiency with collision software (CCC & Mitchell required, Mobile Tech RX preferred). Strong mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge. Ability to effectively use tools and equipment. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication; professionalism in handling sensitive situations. Language Skills : Bilingual in English / Spanish is required.
