Position Overview
As a Title Agent, you will play a critical role in managing title preparation, working with underwriters, and building relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: Title Preparation & Closing: Oversee all aspects of title preparation, including researching and clearing title issues, and ensuring that transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Client Relations & Business Development: Bring your own book of business to help drive company growth. Develop strong relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals to generate new business. Collaboration with Underwriters: Work closely with title underwriters to review and clear any title issues and to ensure a smooth closing process. Transaction Management: Manage residential, commercial, and hard money lender transactions from start to finish, ensuring timelines and client expectations are met. Bi-lingual Communication: Provide exceptional service to both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring that all communication is clear, professional, and timely. Business Growth: Work toward the long-term goal of increasing business profitability and earning a stake in the company based on performance. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Title Agent in residential, commercial, or hard money lending transactions. Bi-lingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base. Title Knowledge: Strong experience with title prep, title research, and working with underwriters. Commercial & Residential Expertise: Experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions is highly preferred. Business Development: Proven ability to bring a book of business and develop client relationships that drive agency growth. Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth and accurate processing of all title-related matters.
