Clinical Nurse Liaison – home infusion pharmacy
Location: Colorado Springs, CO area
Salary: $90K-$110K (DEO) commission
About The Position
The Account Executive/Nurse Liaison is a full-time role that combines clinical expertise with sales skills in the acute care sector. This position focuses on building referral relationships with healthcare providers and guiding patients through their acute infusion therapy journey. Candidates should have acute care sales experience, a strong understanding of discharge processes, and the ability to drive patient referrals.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, specialty providers, case managers, and home health agencies. Serve as a clinical resource for referral partners and patients. Educate providers on infusion therapy services and patient eligibility. Assist patients with insurance navigation and care coordination. Respond to urgent requests, including after-hours inquiries. Problem-solve and adapt to patient care needs and insurance changes. Ensure smooth care transitions from hospital to home infusion therapy.
Requirements Active RN license. 3 years of acute clinical experience, including infusion therapy and patient education. Prior home infusion experience highly preferred. Experience cultivating relationships with referral sources. Sales experience in acute care with a track record of referral development. Knowledge of acute care discharge processes and home infusion referrals. Experience working with hospital case managers, discharge planners, and specialty providers. Ability to travel in Greater Denver area.
Preferred Qualifications Established relationships with healthcare providers in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Experience managing referral pipelines and driving business growth.
